In celebration of this year's "Migrant Workers Day" on June 7, we are coming out with a commemorative publication that is primarily for and about overseas Filipinos, particularly OFWs. Entitled "FILIPINOS TO THE WORLD", and just like our previously published "Global Pinoy" (in 2005), the 24-page large-format gazette will be distributed free to departing OFWs at NAIA’s departure areas, vacationing OFWs at the POEA’s Balik-Manggagawa area, kababayans processing their passports at the DFA, seafarers gathered daily at T. M. Kalaw, and selected commercial areas within Metro Manila and provinces. We also hope to secure permission to have it distributed in Megamall, MRT & LRT stations, and The Filipino Channel (TFC) offices abroad.Monday, April 28, 2008
